Feedjot

Privacy

Last updated: 2026-07-06.

Feedjot is a product of Sweetview Partners, Inc. ("Feedjot," "we," "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. It's written in plain English on purpose, but it's a complete, real privacy policy — it applies to everyone who uses Feedjot, wherever you're located, including the EU/EEA/UK and California.

What we store

Why we process it, and our legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you signed up for: creating your account, authenticating you, storing and posting your threads, billing you for a paid plan, and emailing you service notices (verification, password reset, billing). That processing is necessary to perform our contract with you. Where we process data to keep the service secure (rate-limiting, abuse prevention, error tracking) or to fix bugs, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable product, balanced against your privacy. We don't use your data for advertising and don't need your consent for the processing above, since none of it is optional to providing the service itself.

Your login credentials (email + password) count as "sensitive personal information" under California law. We use them only to authenticate you — never for profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond letting you into your own account — so no additional limitation request is needed, but you can still ask us about this at any time (see "California residents" below).

Cookies

Feedjot uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in (your session cookie). It's required for the app to work and isn't used for tracking or advertising. We don't use third-party ad or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your threads, drafts, uploaded media, and X connection are deleted immediately and irreversibly (see "Your rights" below). Billing records are retained after account deletion only as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations (typically the periods required by IRS/Texas record-keeping rules), with any direct identifiers minimized. Routine operational logs (server activity, not your content) are not part of your account data, are never used for anything beyond running and securing the service, and are cycled out automatically as part of normal server operation rather than kept indefinitely.

What we don't do

Third parties we use

Feedjot connects to X (Twitter) to post your threads and confirm who you are — that's the platform the product publishes to, not an incidental third party.

Beyond that, we share data with a small number of established, U.S.-based service providers, only as needed to run Feedjot and only for that purpose — never for advertising or resale, and they're contractually bound to protect it. In practice that means: a payment processor to handle billing (they take your card details directly; we never see or store them); an email provider to send account notices; a GIF-search provider for the GIF picker, which only ever receives your anonymized search text, never your identity; and a handful of infrastructure providers that host our servers and database, store encrypted backups, screen for bots and abuse at signup, and help us catch and fix bugs. Error reports sent for bug-fixing are scrubbed of passwords and tokens first, and the abuse-screening check only ever sees your IP address.

If you're outside the United States, using Feedjot means your data is transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not have the same data-protection laws as your home country. Our service providers are established companies that publish their own data-protection commitments for exactly this situation (typically the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent certification) as part of their standard terms; we haven't independently re-verified each one's current paperwork, so treat this as our good-faith understanding rather than a guarantee of any specific provider's mechanism at any given time.

Your rights

You can export a full copy of your data or permanently delete your account at any time, self-serve, from Billing in the app — no waiting, no support ticket required. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription first, removes your threads, drafts, uploaded media, and X connection, and cannot be undone. Posts already published to X are not deleted from X — you'll need to remove those there yourself.

Beyond export and delete, you can ask us at any time to: correct inaccurate data we hold about you, restrict or object to certain processing, or get a copy of your data in a portable format (the same export covers this). Email support@feedjot.com for anything the self-serve tools don't cover, and we'll respond promptly. If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents

Under California law you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why (see "What we store" and "Why we process it" above), to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing — which doesn't apply here since we don't sell or share personal information. Exercising these rights won't result in different treatment or a worse version of the service. Contact support@feedjot.com to exercise any of these rights, or use the self-serve export/delete tools in Billing.

Children's privacy

Feedjot is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@feedjot.com and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product matures. For material changes we'll post the new version here with an updated date and, where practical, email active subscribers in advance.
